The College of Animal Welfare

Introduction

The College of Animal Welfare offers world-class education and training based on the fundamental values of animal welfare. Established in 1989, the College celebrates over 25 years of being a world leader in the provision of veterinary and animal care education.

We recognise that animal welfare is a truly global issue. We warmly welcome international students who wish to join our full-time or online, distance learning courses.

When you choose to study with us you will gain knowledge and experience from one of the UK’s leading and most trusted training providers. This gives you the peace of mind that you will achieve a recognised qualification with a reputable college.

Our Mission Statement is:

“Providing innovative learning opportunities for the promotion of animal welfare”

Using this methodology, we have developed our own digital learning material, enabling distance learning through our online courses as well as supporting classroom-based learning.

What do we do?

We deliver a number of fully accredited qualifications for the animal industry including veterinary nursing, veterinary care and animal care.

The courses we offer are suitable for those working, or volunteering with animals in veterinary practices, animal rescue centres, kennels and catteries, and more. Some of our courses are available by online learning and can be studied in your home country, others can be studied in the UK. Based in the UK, the College works with over 30 different countries and welcomes students from all over the world.
