Introduction

Kingston College is a major provider of full time, part time and undergraduate courses in Kingston upon Thames. Situated in South West London, close to the River Thames in a thriving town centre, the College offers both academic and vocational courses from Levels 1 to 6 and provides students with a friendly, stimulating environment for study.

On completing the course successful students will be eligible to either progress on to higher education programmes or apply for industry apprenticeship schemes in the civil and military sectors to train as licensed aircraft engineers. Course Content Theory of Flight; Avionic Systems; Gas Turbines; Human Factors; Electrical and Electronic Principles; Aircraft Structures; Mechanical Principles; Properties and Applications of Engineering Materials; Communications for Technicians; Mathematics for Technicians; Health, Safety and Risk Assessment; Engineering Project; Business Systems for Technicians; Computer Aided Draughting; Further Mathematics for Technicians.
