INTO UEA - your home away from home
Your INTO UEA Study Centre is located in the heart of the University campus. It's home to our friendly international student support team, who'll support you in your journey towards study at UEA.
They'll help make your time here as enjoyable as possible. Whatever your needs, support is available, including language advisers if English is not your first language.
The Study Centre also links to our fantastic international student accommodation, so you'll never be far from anything you need.
In no time at all, you'll be relaxing with friends in one of our many comfortable social spaces, trying out new food at the INTO restaurant, or exploring the city of Norwich.

The INTO Centre has everything you need to secure your place at the University of East Anglia.
Classes are kept small for maximum teacher-to-student interaction. And the 2015 INTO Exit Survey showed that 93% of students were satisfied with their experience.

Learning Resource Centre
The Learning Resource Centre is where you'll find support materials, such as books, CDs, DVDs, journals, and newspapers. Here you can print out study notes and scan in learning materials. And state-of-the-art touchscreen computers give you access to the University's online facilities and e-journals.
Can't find what you're looking for? Our friendly staff will provide advice and training to help you make the most of what's available, including:

- national and local periodicals replenished weekly
- laptops to borrow overnight
You can download lecture notes and other useful course content from UEA's virtual learning environment, and take part in online discussions with teachers and classmates.The Learning Resource Centre is open every day from 7.30 am to 11 pm.
UEA is a pioneering British research university, leading the way in fields as diverse as climate change, international development, food science and much more.
The University is ranked in the top 1% in the world for research excellence (CWTS Leiden Ranking 2016) and 10th in the UK for quality of research (Research Excellence Framework 2014).
During the latest Research Assessment Exercise, over 50% of the University's research activity was deemed to be 'world-leading' or 'internationally excellent', and nearly 90% was considered to be of 'international standing'.

UEA is also part of Norwich Research Park, which has one of Europe's largest single-site concentrations of research in health, food and environmental sciences. It's one of the most cited research centres outside of Oxbridge and London and has won two Nobel Prizes.

When you study at UEA, you'll be taught by active researchers at the forefront of their disciplines. Many of your teachers advise on real-world policies and will help you to this latest knowledge and thinking in the classroom.
The results of this real-world focus are clear - over 96% of UEA international students are employed in professional or managerial work, or in further study, within six months of graduation.
Your Student Union
Your Student Union organises regular showings of films, fashion shows, and more than 60 musical events held on campus each year. This includes the annual 'Go Global' event that showcases students' different cultures with a variety of foods, dress and customs.
Explore upcoming gigs, club nights, special events and more at the UEA Student Union website, or take a look at big-name bands who have already played on campus at the LCR.
The University also owns a city centre venue called The Waterfront, a live music venue and nightclub that includes three rooms and an eclectic mix of DJs and live bands.
You can get involved with a wide range of student clubs and societies at the University. These include everything from art, ballroom dancing and debating, through to law, languages and photography. Or help produce the student newspaper, magazine, radio show or television channel?
Artistic inspiration, right on your doorstep
UEA's campus is home to the internationally renowned Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts.
It offers free entry for inspirational permanent collections that cover over 5,000 years of human creativity, and the prominent museum and art gallery also hosts many major art exhibitions throughout the year.
Pablo Picasso, Edgar Degas, Francis Bacon, Jacob Epstein, Henry Moore, Alberto Giacometti and Amedeo Modigliani are all represented.
And you can also join an award-winning learning programme of gallery talks, lectures and workshops to further fuel your artistic inspiration.
An amazing student experience
The University of East Anglia is a fantastic university where students can enjoy a thriving community atmosphere and a wealth of amazing life experiences.
Students have rated UEA in the 'top 5 for student experience' every year in the National Student Survey since 2005. And in 2016 it was ranked first in the 'good environment on campus/around university' category in the Times Higher Education Student Experience Survey.
UEA's beautiful parkland campus offers plenty of chances to relax between studies. You can spot rabbits on a nature walk, enjoy a barbecue by the lake, or take in the clean, fresh air while reading on the grass.
