The INTO Manchester Study Centre is close to city and local university facilities. It offers you the chance to study in one of the most exciting and culturally diverse cities in the world.
Located in Bridgewater House, an impressive Edwardian building, the Centre is right in the heart of bustling Manchester.
You're never far from a variety of coffee shops, cafes and restaurants, including Manchester's famous Chinatown area. Plus, The University of Manchester and Manchester Metropolitan University are also just a short walk away.
The Centre's facilities have been designed with students like you in mind. You can take advantage of the modern classroom and IT technologies.
Their academic programmes are taught in a similar way to what you'll experience at the university, to help build your confidence before beginning your studies in higher education. Their English language classes are taught in an interactive, inclusive classroom environment to help build your language skills through classroom participation.
The Centre is home to the friendly Student Services team, who are on hand to help. They understand the challenges that come with studying abroad and provide a dedicated network of support. From visa and immigration advice, through to opening your UK bank account, you're in safe hands.
Life outside the classroom
As an international student, you can live as part of a vibrant student community in our carefully selected accommodation nearby, or experience real British life in a family homestay. Both options offer a secure, comfortable environment in which to grow – both academically and as a person.

Classrooms have digital whiteboards, which allow your teachers to use online resources, and are designed to encourage interaction and make sure you get involved.

The Learning Resource Centre is home to a range of study support materials, including books, CDs, DVDs, online journals, newspapers, and printing and scanning facilities.
You'll have 24/7 access to virtual learning environment to download lecture notes and other useful course materials. And you'll also be able to take part in online discussions with teachers and classmates.
Investment in your future
Once you've progressed to MMU, you'll benefit from the results of a £350 million investment in research and teaching facilities. This includes investments of £75 million in the Business School and Student Hub, and a £35 million building for the Manchester School of Art.
The campus houses numerous food and drink venues, including a recently refurbished Student's Union building.
