The Middle East's Premier Flight Training Organization Horizon is a world-class flight training organization providing innovative, tailor-made training solutions to commercial and military customers across South Asia, the Middle East, and North Africa. With a 5,000 square meter facility at the Al Ain International Airport, Horizon's flight training program employs state-of-the-art equipment and utilizes the best resources for pilot training purposes. Approved by the UAE GCAA and EASA Exemplifying high standards of operation and safety requirements, Horizon training programs follow the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), formerly joint Aviation Authority (JAA) syllabus. The training courses for both fixed wing and rotary wing carry the UAE General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) approval, and in addition fixed wing training courses are approved by EASA. Horizon provides training courses to individuals and institutions across the entire breadth of flight crew licensing, from Private Pilot License to Airline Transport Pilot License and Flight Instructor Ratings. It is the academy of choice for Etihad Airways' commercial pilot training program, and also provides training in the defense and police sectors. The academy has accumulated over 70,000 flying hours with more than 500 pilot and instructor graduates. An Expanding Footprint With exponential growth predicted for the aviation industry, Horizon continues to expand its training expertise and client portfolio. With the aim to be the leading flight training organization in South Asia, the Middle East, and North Africa, Horizon is moving into the South Asian market, providing its training expertise to a wider customer base. Horizon has finalized a joint venture agreement with Abu Dhabi Aviation (ADA), to establish an advanced flight training facility in Abu Dhabi dedicated to serving global commercial and defense customers. The expansion into full motion simulator training furthers Horizon’s mission to be on the cutting edge of flight training technology and innovative learning while offering flexible, cost-effective, tailor-made solutions to its customers maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
