The center is a learning community where you can find the support you need to succeed. At the INTO Illinois State center, you will meet dedicated staff ready to assist you in anything you may need including housing, visa questions, and academic support. They also organize social events so you can meet new friends.

INTO Illinois State creates a welcoming atmosphere that provides you with the resources needed to integrate into the university and US culture. You can find the center located right on the Illinois State campus, so you will never be too far from your support system. You will meet there dedicated staff ready to assist you with housing, student wellness, and airport transfers. They will help you with planning trips, activities and anything else you may need throughout your student journey.

The Learning Center

At the INTO Illinois State Learning Center, you will find academic support to help you succeed in your courses. They know the best way to learn another language is to practice it with someone else. There, you can work with Pathway Peer tutors that will help you improve your English reading, writing and speaking skills. You can also check out books to help you get your assignments done.

Support every step of the way

When you join INTO Illinois State you become a part of a supportive community made up of our staff and other international students. From the minute you land in Bloomington-Normal, the student services team will take care of you from the airport to your new home. It is easy to feel lost in a new school, let alone a new country, but they will be there to make sure you can always find your way throughout your studies. A member of the student services team will always be available to you 24 hours a day. Whether you have a housing, academic or personal issue, don’t be afraid to reach out.
