We believe our first responsibility is to the students, staff, parents, alumni and all other stake holders. In meeting their need, everything we do epitomize scholarship with professionalism. A scholarship to us means “the pursuit and acquisition of knowledge” and Professionalism means “application of knowledge for development in an ethical way” these two are the key-driven forces of UPSA’s existence.

Opportunities for Students

UPSA is accredited by the Accreditation Council Business Schools Practice, a highly recognized international accreditation Body in the United States. The Industrial Relations Department was created to advocate for stronger relations with Industries, Professional Institutions Associations, and similar bodies in academia. The Department helps students obtain Internships/Practical Attachments, coordinates National Service activities, and issues Academic Research letters to students for their research works. Once you are enrolled in a degree program, you have the opportunity to benefit from free tuition in any professional programme, namely: CIM, ICSA, and ACCA. Centre for International Education and Collaboration has an International Student’s Office to assist and provide services to international students in UPSA. They assist with international students with visas, integrating into Ghana and campus life, and give advice on accommodation. UPSA is located in East Legon, a peaceful and well-developed suburb of Accra, the capital city of Ghana. The surrounding area of the university boasts a wide array of restaurants and shopping centers for students’ convenience. The campus is also equipped with a full medical clinic, a canteen for meals and snacks, a state-of-the-art five-story library complex, counseling services, and a hostel for students within walking distance.
