Introduction

Flying school Fly For Fun was created in 1995 and now belongs between the biggest and the most prestigious flying schools in Czech Republic. We dispose with wide range of different aircrafts and choppers. Our instructors are ex-airfighter pilots, airline pilots or pilots of air rescue services.

Petr Šindelář

The head instructor (CFI) in our flying school. Captain of commerical aircrafts ATPL(A), test pilot, pilot of multi-engine aircrafts MEP, pilot and instructor of engine flying FI(A), pilot of gliders, test inspector CAA. He fly since 1979 and has over 13 400 hours in air.

The instructor of flying school Fly For Fun has over 8 000 hours of flight time experience. The most from this time as an instructor. He flies since 1994.

Jan Matúšů

Glider pilot, pilot - instructor of ULL(A), commercial pilot and instructor from PPL(A) to CPL(A). He flies about 20 types of airplanes. He loves towing gliders, which he also did in Australia. If he doesn't fly, he teaches theory in Czech and English and is examiner for ICAO english exam.

Where we fly

Airport Sazená (25 km to the north from Prague)

No landscape obstacles close to the airport. The drain system is laid under the grassy surface and therefore the airport is fit for operation even after torrential rains.

For CPL or PPL holders: have completed at least 800 hours of flight time under IFR, of which at least 400 hours shall be in aeroplanes

For FI holders: at least 200 hours of flight time under IFR, of which up to 50 hours may be instrument ground time in an FNPT II

The MCC course (Multi Crew Cooperation) is required for every pilot who wants to fly as part of a multi-pilot crew.

The aim of the training is to gain professional knowledge, skills and experience as part of multi-pilot crew (MCC) to safely fly multi-pilot multi-engine airplanes. It is a prerequisite for flying for the airlines.

Entry requirements for the MCC course

Minimum age is 18 years and students need at least hold a valid certificate of medical fitness II Class according to PART-MED. 25 hours of classroom training are required before starting the practical training.
