Introduction

The educational program is designed in terms of technique and the art of manufacturing through sustained practice. Full-time, each year, the student takes 720 hours of classes from September to June. The student has access to classrooms throughout the day to enable him to do the work required.

The first year is devoted to learning the technical fundamentals of computer graphics and 3D.

All the technical basics of 3D (from modelling to rendering, including setup and animation)

Development of the photorealistic gaze

Culture of digital special effects

Presentation techniques

2ND YEAR:

Based on the fundamentals, deepening and learning of advanced techniques.

Dynamics management

FX, particles, fluids, hairs

Advanced setup and rigging techniques

3RD YEAR:

The third-year is dedicated to realizing a Major Project and punctuated by Masterclasses of professional speakers.

Based on a storyboard and analysis of a sequence:

Analysis and inventory of items to be manufactured

Determination of deadlines

Construction of a schedule

Implementation of micro-production pipelines

Asset manufacturing

Production of the sequence and special effects

Seminars on the status of the profession and job search techniques. Work carried out in small groups formed according to business orientations. Half-yearly monitoring panels—presentation of the work to a professional jury at the end of the year.

Job dating: during the end-of-year jury, students will have the opportunity to participate in meetings organized with professionals, possibly leading to internship or employment opportunities.

By the end of the course, the student will have built up a demo-reel relevant to professionals, consisting of work directly related to the special effects and animation professions. This demo-reel will demonstrate the abilities it has acquired and the methodology used to produce the elements that constitute it.
