The 17 Sustainable Development Goals established by the United Nations were established as a map to guide action-oriented people who understand the need to work on a balance of economic, environmental, and social forces and programs needed to develop this wonderful world we live in. These are just some of the topics at stake.
Choose 4 of the following courses for a Certificate in Sustainability and Environmental impact:

- Agroecology and Sustainable Food Systems (not offered in Spring)
- Climate Change: Impacts and adaptations
- Costa Rican Environmental Policy
- Sustainable Consumption & Production
- Environmental Impact and Social Development
- Gender and Sustainability
- Sustainable Lifestyles
- Sustainability and Resource Management in the Ancient World
- Biotechnology and Sustainability (not offered in Fall)
* If a student comes during a Term that has Easter week the program is a week-long and will have to pay an extra week for their homestay.
