Introduction
Boost your continuing professional development with our Postgraduate Certificate in Widening Participation and Evaluation. This course will support your practice related to widening access and participation for students from underrepresented backgrounds.
You’ll explore the relationship between widening participation policy, theory and practice. You'll also understand the drivers for widening participation strategies and produce outputs that will enhance your practice. These will include:

The course consists of 4 compulsory modules.
Lectures, Seminars and Workshops
The course is implemented online. You will attend an orientation 'boot camp' day at the start of the course, either in-person or online.
The standard pattern of online teaching for modules will include either live or recorded lectures, seminars and workshops, which are delivered with a blended learning approach. These will cover key topics around:

- Educational Teaching Methods
- Evaluation of Widening Participation Initiatives
