Introduction
Do you want to be a Mediator? Do you want to acquire or develop a new professional facet through mediation to resolve conflicts? Now you can.
Complying with the requirements established in Royal Legislative Decree 980/2013, of December 13, which develops certain aspects of Law 5/2012, of July 6, on mediation in civil and commercial matters, the specific training described in the present Title of Expert in Mediation is aimed at obtaining the knowledge and skills necessary for the professional practice of mediation, both at a theoretical and practical level, and its corresponding evaluation. It is a professional opportunity, open to any profile, designed for you.
Its content is fundamentally practical. It is a course taught entirely by professional mediators aimed at training mediators who enter this profession. For this reason, its content is eminently practical and provides the necessary tools for students to be trained as mediators and can practice professionally as such.
Goals
- Know, identify and enhance the skills of the professional mediator.
- Acquire the necessary knowledge to correctly develop mediation functions.
- Acquire and develop, through practical sessions, the experience and skills necessary to correctly carry out their functions.
- Apply coaching techniques aimed at mediation and conflict resolution.
- Use NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) in mediation and different communication techniques.
- Know how to resort to simplified mediation procedures by electronic means.
- Work on real cases and in the search for solutions applicable to daily practice and professional practice.
- Provide the necessary tools so that students are trained as mediators and can practice professionally as such.
- Obtain the qualities required by the European Union Directives for mediation in member countries.
- Deepen the identity and functions of the mediator, from a general and necessary scope for them to obtain the title and, later, if they wish, specialize, through other Courses offered by the URJC, in the different types of mediation that they intend to perform: community, family, criminal, commercial, bankruptcy, labor, inheritance, insurance, electronic, international, etc.
