Introduction
The Higher University Course of Soccer Coach: Team Management and Methodology emerges as a response to the burgeoning requirement for specialized instruction in the realm of Sports Sciences, intrinsically connected to the pursuit of sports vocations. The course is aimed at
- Soccer Coaches with a Federative Diploma level I, II, or III.
- Graduates / Graduates in Physical Activity and Sports Sciences, with a football federation degree.
Goals
The purpose of the Course is to offer coaches the knowledge of the latest developments in science applied to soccer, as well as to update coaches and professionals in the technical knowledge of soccer, from a novel approach, based on the Complexity Paradigm, to be able to provide the coach with the ability to interpret collective behaviors, diagnose what is happening from a complex prism, detect performance trends and be able to generate a training and technical intervention process that optimizes sports performance
Curriculum
Module 1 – Game model and complexity sciences
This module addresses the scientific foundations of soccer, from the Complexity Paradigm, based on the interaction of the components that determine performance in sports (technical, tactical, physiological, and behavioral).

- Evolution and current trends in the game of soccer
- Analysis and development of the game model
Module 2 – Detection of talent and analysis of the competition
Module 2 addresses the scientific bases that determine the processes of selection, recruitment, and detection of sports talents, through the review of the tests and instruments used by coaches in the training categories. The second part of the module focuses on soccer tactical analysis models to optimize sports performance.

Module 3 - Analysis of the football context
This module addresses the teaching and training of other forms of soccer, such as futsal, beach soccer, and soccer-7. The evolution of refereeing in recent years and the use of new technologies for soccer analysis are analyzed.

Module 4 - Leadership and team management
This module studies the processes of managing sports groups, sports psychological variables, sports coaching, and the coach's teaching skills to manage their leadership within the team.

Module 5 - Training optimization and methodological direction
Module 5 deals with the study of the soccer teaching methodology in the training categories and the teaching skills of the coaches, during the didactic intervention. Likewise, sports expertise models and processes to achieve sports excellence are analyzed.
