Introduction

Are you ready to start learning another language?

He presents the Sabana Languages program to the International Center for Foreign Languages and Cultures of the University of La Sabana and invites them to start their training process in foreign languages.

You can choose between: English, French, German, Portuguese and Italian!

Classes can be totally virtual, with alternation (hyflex) or in person on the campus of the University of La Sabana.

Complete a level in one of the following courses

Semester course

  • Classes are held Monday through Friday 2 days a week, 2 hours each day.
  • Hours: from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm from Monday to Friday (depending on the academic offer)

Intemestral course

Two courses are opened a year: one in June and the other at the end of November

  • Hourly intensity: 64 hours (Lasts approximately 3 weeks)
  • Classes are held Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm.

objective

Guide the student towards the development of strategies that promote the improvement of their communication skills, providing them with the necessary tools to function effectively in different professional, social and cultural contexts through the use of English, French, German, Portuguese and Italian!

Methodology

Classes are student-centered, dynamic, and provide the opportunity for participants to practice all four language skills: speaking, reading, listening, and writing. Current methodologies are used with the support of resources and technological tools. To facilitate the learning processes, it seeks to create an atmosphere of trust where students, through their participation, enrich the class with their sociocultural background, relying on modern and adequate material, adapted pedagogical documents and monitoring for efficient autonomous work.

Addressed to

Young people from the age of 14 and adults who want to improve their communication skills in a second language as a foreign language.

Note: we do not have courses for children or students under 14 years of age. The courses are developed with undergraduate students from the University.

Classes can be totally virtual, with alternation (Hyflex) or in person on the campus of the University of La Sabana.

The English language program has 7 levels, in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference. The starting level will be defined with the classification test.

French
