Introduction

Basics of Bread Making, French Pastry, Cake Preparation & Decoration

Thai Chef School’s Pastry & Bakery training course provides the fundamental training needed to enhance one’s skills in French pastry, cake making & decorating, chocolates, and bread making. No previous experience is needed to enroll in this program. You only need to have a desire to create delectable desserts. By training with our professional pastry chefs, you will be amazed at how easy it is to take your skills to higher levels. Training is 1 to 5 weeks, depending on how much you want to learn. In just 5 weeks, once you master these classical and contemporary skills and techniques, you will be able to create your own masterpieces. Want to open a coffee shop or a bakery? Just join us to learn what is needed to do this.

Join us in Bangkok to learn the basics of bread making, French pastry, cake preparation & decorating, and chocolates. Training is 100% hands-on. In just 5 weeks, learn the art of creating exquisite pastries and baked goods, from traditional bread making to pastry showpieces. AND then do an internship at a 5-star hotel pastry department for up to 6 months and really get to apply what you have learned with us.

Crazy about beautiful macarons, lemon tarts, dark chocolate towers, tiramisu, chocolate truffles? Want to learn how to make perfect pizza crusts–both thick and thin? How about Danish, croissants and specialty bread? All of these and more can be learned in our 5 weeks Pastry & Bakery Arts course. Study for 1 week or all 5–up to you!

Additional Information

Pastry & Bakery Course Tuition (based on number of weeks of study)–

Pastry (Module 1):

  • 1 Week–20,000 THB ($635 USD)
  • 2 Weeks–35,000 THB ($1,100 USD)
  • 3 Weeks–50,000 THB ($1,600 USD)

Bakery (Module 2):

  • 1 Week–20,000 THB ($635 USD)
  • 2 Weeks–35,000 THB ($1,100 USD)

FULL 5 weeks (Modules 1 & 2) special–75,000 THB ($2,380 USD)

INTERNSHIPS: Available for up to 6 months in a Thai 5-star hotel pastry department.

EDUCATION VISA: Available for 6 months, administrative charge of 30,000 THB

Start Day: Mondays

Study Week: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM daily

When to join: Study for 1 week up to 5 weeks, start on Week 1, 3, 4, or 5--up to you.

Recipes & Instruction: In English

Deposit: 25% required to guarantee your seat

Accommodations: Private rooms starting as low as 2,500 baht/week are available and nice hostel bed available for 1,500 baht/week.

Letter of Acceptance: Provided free of charge to those not wanting a 6 month Education Visa, once deposit is received.

Certificate of Achievement: Granted to those completing 1 week of training

Diploma:

A Basic Pastry & Baking Arts Diploma is awarded upon completion of 2-4 weeks (80-160 hours) of training and accredited by the Thai Ministry of Education.
A Professional Pastry & Baking Arts Diploma is awarded upon completion of 5 weeks (200 hours) of training and accredited by the Thai Ministry of Education.
