Introduction
TCC's Human Services Professional program prepares students to work as practitioners in social, mental health, and addiction service agencies; and non-profit organizations, schools, and prisons. You’ll learn about human behavior and social problems, and how individuals interact with systems to address these issues. Students will use these skills to help people meet their physical, mental, and emotional needs.

Curriculum
To enter the Human Services program, students must:
- Assess at ENGL& 101 level or have completed ENGL/ 095 with a C grade or higher. Check out TCC's Placement Testing.
- Once you complete your assessment and application to TCC, contact one of the HSP faculty members to discuss your educational plan.
TCC's Associate of Applied Science in Human Services Degree builds on the Case Aid Certificate and the Chemical Dependency Certificate. It is an academic program designed to include general education requirements to earn an Associate Degree. Students will develop the skills necessary to pursue employment in the Human Services field or continue to a Bachelor's Degree. This degree can be completed in 2 years.

Career Opportunities
Graduates of the Human Services Program Pathway can pursue a Bachelor of Applied Science in Community Health at TCC. The Evergreen State College and UMass Global also accept the Associate of Applied Science Human Services degree for direct admission as a junior.
