Introduction
Agribusiness
Agribusiness and Agriculture majors will want to complete an Associate of Science (AS), the AS is a transfer degree. Agri. Business and Agriculture students find it an ideal preparation for entrance into professions such as agriculture business management as well as many other business careers, livestock production, crop production, agriculture sales, agriculture marketing, agriculture education, and natural resource areas e.g. range management, forestry, grazing management and soil conservation.
Which Classes Should I Take?
It depends on your educational and career goals. Talk to Agribusiness/Agriculture director Jay Olsen or a Student Success Advisor. Note, the recommendations given are general suggestions—every major in Agriculture has different requirements. Students who have a transfer institution in mind should consult that institutions' Agriculture Department counselor regarding course transferability as soon as possible.
