The Singapore Institute of Retail Studies (SIRS) is a Continuing Education & Training (CET) institute of Nanyang Polytechnic (NYP).

The Singapore Institute of Retail Studies (SIRS) is a Continuing Education & Training (CET) institute of Nanyang Polytechnic (NYP). Set up in 2006 as the 1st CET centre in Singapore, SIRS’ excellent performance and track record won the National CET Institute status's conferment, the pinnacle status for CET centres. Since 2016, SIRS is appointed as the Anchor Provider for the Retail Industry by SkillsFuture Singapore, as well as Programme Manager for various national programmes, including the Lean Enterprise Development Scheme, Professional Conversion Programmes, Work-Study Programmes, Job Redesign Place & Train Programme, as well as the Work-Study Bootcamp for Digital Marketing & Branding.

SIRS offers a comprehensive spectrum of Retail programmes and solutions, including the Workforce Skills Qualifications, Executive Programmes, Masterclasses, Workshops, Seminar and Conferences. To lead the Retail industry into digitalisation and e-commerce, SIRS established strategic partnerships with market leaders the likes of Alibaba, Amazon, eBay, Lazada, Qoo10, Shopee, SingTel 99% SME and many others, to co-create and bring to market a suite of cutting edge digital programmes to help retailers extend online and execute successful omnichannel strategies.
