Introduction

This course focuses on both the basic and specialized techniques behind cleaning buildings. Courses also include a review of health and safety regulations, WHMIS training, and workplace professionalism. This course is based on the ISSA Canada and Cleaning Management Institute\xbfs cleaning practices and standards. Students are provided with the knowledge and practical skills for entry into the building service industry in custodial work, and upgrading for those who are currently employed in the industry.

Training includes theory, demonstrations, and practical skills training in the classroom and appropriate work areas. Topics include health and safety regulations, workplace professionalism, and basic and specialized cleaning.
