Faculty and Staff
1. Full-time Teacher
There are 4 full-time teachers in this program, all of whom are young and vigorous with active thinking and rich teaching experience. 2 of them are double-qualified teachers. All the teachers have a master’s degree and overseas study and work experience ranging from 2-5 years, and all have been certified by SCC and Centennial College.
2. Part-time Teacher
The team of 5 part-time teachers in this program are all front-line hotel managers who have been engaged in the hotel industry for many years. They have good ideological and political qualities, professional ethics and craftsmanship, infarcted professional knowledge, and rich practical experience, and, they can undertake professional course teaching, internship training, and other teaching tasks.
Co-op Industries
Crowne Plaza Suzhou belongs to the Intercontinental Hotels Management Group. It was formerly known as the earliest foreign-related five-star hotel in Suzhou Industrial Park. It currently has 402 rooms and is one of the most famous international five-star hotels in Suzhou.
As a building with obvious characteristics, a combination of classic and modern, and rich in historical charm, Suzhou Hovel Mansion Hotel is a high-end business club integrating business, leisure, dining, entertainment, and housing. The hotel won the 2011 China Best Design Hotel Award.
The W Hotel Suzhou was recently opened in 2017. It is a global modern luxury brand under Marriott International. The W Hotel Suzhou, which inspires inspiration, creates trends and boldly innovates, has a profound impact on the industry.
At present, we have conducted in-depth cooperation with the above-mentioned hotels in terms of faculty sharing, co-construction of courses, and sharing of training bases. The hotels provide places for practical teaching for this major. Students who perform well in hotel training and internships will be favored and given priority to obtain employment opportunities.
