Have a passion for food or creating new recipes? Then our partnership program may be for you! Students will complete the first year of their studies at Salem Community College, and then attend a summer semester and second year at Rowan College of Burlington County. Studies include professionalism, basic principles and techniques of a professional kitchen, sanitary food handling, science and nutrition, event planning, culinary methodology, food service operation and culinary critique.

The core classes offered in this program maximize your transfer options! Liberal arts focuses on a well-rounded education, giving students the capacity for innovation and analytics. Often, liberal arts majors become shapers of our economy and culture. If you are interested in educational freedom, risk-taking and experimentation, then our program is for you!

Liberal Arts Associate in Arts

If you have a passion for everything that is art, then this is the program for you! Our Studio Art program focuses on the foundational classes in art and liberal arts. Students are introduced to a wide array of artistic platforms and media. Studies include drawing, two and three dimensional design, computer art, color theory, figure drawing, printmaking and painting. Emphasis is placed on the production and development of artwork.
