Rose Bruford College
Introduction
Rose Bruford College has offered performing arts education for nearly 75 years in the London borough of Bexley, located 25 minutes from Central London. The Postgraduate provision at the college operates on a global scale, with spaces in London, Connecticut, Berlin, and more. We aim to achieve social and cultural impact by delivering the highest quality education with specialist courses renowned for their transformational learning experiences. We champion diversity, believing that a global mix of people is integral to making our community a more innovative and inclusive place to study and work. Our learning ethos is anchored in artistry, collaboration, community, discovery, independence, and professionalism in a supportive environment.
Our goal is to inspire, excite, and train you as a creative artist and practitioner who can use reflective practice and research, along with the world-class teaching we provide, as tools to become an independent thinker and a fulfilled and successful working professional.
Our teaching, learning, and training ethos is based on artistry, collaboration, community, discovery, diversity, employability, independence, and professionalism. Students and staff work in collaboration across our campuses to make and produce over 75 shows a year.
Some productions are shown in London, and some are taken on tour in the UK and abroad. Many of our students incorporate an international experience into their studies with us. Out of this lively atmosphere have come generations of performers, designers, technicians, and companies who are changing the face of global theatre and live events.
The best way to learn more about us is to come along for an Open Day or to see one of our shows in action. We perform seasons of work throughout the year where you can see first-hand the work of our talented design, technical, and performance students.
