Introduction
The Associate of Science degree in Mathematics prepares students for transfer into the junior year of a baccalaureate degree program in mathematics, mathematics education, or related areas such as statistics, actuarial science, computational biology, mathematical finance, etc. This program is also recommended for those students interested in pursuing higher studies in physics and allied fields. Graduates have transferred to colleges across the country including the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Cornell University, University of Delaware, New York University, and Rutgers University.
