Introduction
Rome is one of the most photographed cities in the world, and yet it always offers new sides to discover: its centuries-old beauty, its inhabitants, life, and unique atmosphere.
Rome is a place where tradition, new technologies, and craftsmanship coexist; in how many ways it can be experienced?
Our Design Academy – which is one of the most ancient in the city -, suggests a very special way to discover its secrets and learn the techniques of photography, drawing, engraving, and printing.
This course is a creative journey and particular attention will be given to the close relationship between the project idea and production phase, to understand the full range of possibilities for a designer. Through workshops, studio visits, and appointments with different material suppliers the participants will understand the real-life aspects of the production process towards completion of the design project.
Accommodation Suggestions
Quasar will help participants find suitable accommodations, by considering all the partner’s options (hotel, B&B, Airbnb).

This course is for current international university students or for new professionals who wish to enrich their design experience in Rome.
