Introduction
Prepare for a fulfilling career in the exciting hospitality and tourism industry with the Hospitality and Tourism diploma. During this program, you will receive hands-on training in a diverse range of tourism facilities and services, from sporting events and recreational operations to mixology, culinary theory, and everything in between.
Recognized as a SMART Accredited Program through Tourism HR Canada, this industry-driven program will provide you with hands-on experience attending major tourism destinations in Alberta like Drumheller and Banff, and hosting industry events at Olds College. Management-focused education provides your employability in many businesses all around the world.
This program can be completed in a 15-month accelerated program or over two years.
Work Integrated Learning
Students enrolled in the Hospitality and Tourism Management diploma program will be required to complete two paid industry work experiences during their second term (500 hours total), along with a final capstone project to demonstrate their supervisory and management experience.
