Introduction
Explore literary works from French-speaking writers in the light of their social-cultural setting.
By the end of this course, you will be able to: Explore, develop and discuss themes and analyze characters; Explore, develop and discuss the distinctive use of language, style, and register; Increase confidence by developing analytical, collaborative, and independent learning skills.
Good command of French and English is required. Interview with a tutor online before enrolment is advisable (contact Department).
Excellent attendance and punctuality are required for all students. This course requires some additional study outside of class time.
