Educational Goals
The "Fashion Law" Executive course is designed for Graduates, law students and professionals, who want to deepen their understanding and knowledge of fashion and luxury businesses, from a legal perspective.
At the end of the course, the student will have learned to deal with the complexity of the processes of fashion and luxury businesses, to correctly manage and apply the relevant regulations and business practices, from agreements and contracts to the management of brands and other intellectual property rights, up to the methods of relating and enhancing the processes that involve the various corporate stakeholders (from licensing to the entire supply chain).

Course description
The Executive course in "Fashion Law" aims to provide participants with the most up-to-date information, benchmark skills and field expertise that characterize the most relevant legal frameworks to support the processes characteristic of the fashion and luxury system.
Starting from an introduction to the sector, the course will offer a 360-degree theoretical knowledge of the legal subjects of the sector and practical skills, thanks to a Faculty made up of lawyers and professionals in the sector.
The topics covered in the course alternate with discussions on case studies, meetings with sector representatives, debates and project work. The topics covered are:
- Brand protection: intellectual property and counterfeiting - The module aims to deal with counterfeiting between civil and criminal offences. Customs protection. Civil and criminal remedies. Brand protection in a broad sense.
- Leverage the brand: licensing, sponsorships, co-branding - The module aims to analyze licensing, cobranding and sponsorship agreements.
- Supply chain contracts and supply chain control - The module aims to delve deeper into manufacturing agreements, as well as supply chain compliance.
- Distribution in fashion - Distribution, franchising and agency contracts will be explored in detail. Antitrust aspects will also be explored in depth.
- Labour - Module dedicated to a practical in-depth study of the main aspects of the legal topic in the world of fashion.
- Communication in fashion - The module will delve into the importance of using photos between copyright and image rights. Principles of commercial communication and influencer marketing.
Important topics will also be addressed such as corporate responsibility in the fashion industry, the 231 models and circular economy and sustainability.
