Liberal Arts Associate of Arts Degree (AA) - Agriculture

There are numerous career opportunities in agriculture today, ranging from the production sector such as farming to scientific research to conservation. Even though the number of farms is declining, farm labour contractors and farm management services are still in demand. Employment of agricultural and food scientists is projected to grow 9 per cent from 2012 to 2022, about as fast as the average for all occupations. Any career in agriculture should start with a solid background in plant and animal biology and chemistry.
