Introduction

The Graduate Diploma of International Studies (GDIS) is a one-year programme and offers a broad perspective on business, international relations, languages and environmental studies to produce graduates whose skills are relevant to current global requirement.

The Graduate Diploma of International Studies (GDIS) is a programme designed to meet the needs of students who have completed a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline and wish to undertake further studies in specialised international studies.

  • NZQA Level 7 (You must hold a relevant Bachelor's Degree)
  • Credits 120 credits
  • Duration 3 semesters (minimum)
  • Intake January, April, August

Course requirements

You need to complete eight papers at second and third-year undergraduate level (level 6 and 7) that reflect the specialisations within the Bachelor of Contemporary International Studies programme. At least five of these papers must be at level 7). Choose from a range of papers from the International Business, International Relations, Environmental Studies, or Language majors.
