General informations

Goal

At the end of this training, participants will be able to:

  • to write a structured presentation,
  • to define the objectives and the target audience to build the thread of its presentation,
  • to train to present with the techniques of the actor to manage and convince their audience.

Context

Before the session, each participant is invited to come with a PowerPoint presentation, which is "re-visited" in Day 1 and put in situation in Day 2 with a theater actor.

Prerequisites

Prior to this training, participants will be able to use the classic functions of Powerpoint (this training is not an office training).

Axes of writing

  • Revisit animation support
  • Collect and structure messages to communicate
  • Adjust background and structure of presentations
  • Design an effective message with five tools:
    • analysis of the situation
    • purpose of the presentation
    • structure of the plan
    • focus on introduction and conclusion
    • formalization of the "Fil rouge"
  • Implement these 5 tools to re-visit the initial presentation
  • Design a relevant visual medium
  • Implement best practices to promote memorization, accuracy and clarity of the message from the public's point of view
  • Apply the golden rules of designing visual aids

Axes of the Oral

  • "Animate": axis of the oral
    • The body: breathing, voice, articulation, holding
    • The mind: listening-silence, mood energy, commitment gesture
  • "Manage - convince": axis of communication
  • Define terms and conditions
  • Debriefing with identification of key tools: manage, convince
  • Use tools of oral communication: communication transmission
  • Put into practice the main principles of written and oral communication "Great final game":
  • Animate the re-thought presentation
  • Rely on key concepts for future media

Pedagogy is based on:

  • an alternation of contributions, workshops and exchanges with the participants in a peer group,
  • situations based on the learning cases,
  • a personalized action plan,
  • an animation with acting techniques on the 2nd day (trainer & theater actor).
