Established in 1987, the htk academy educates world-class designers, both in Germany and online. Quite recently, the course portfolio has expanded: Communication Design and Game Creation will be delivered fully in English starting from September and October 2023 intakes.

Our campus in Berlin has modern equipment including studios and the latest technology in terms of camera equipment and hardware.
hkt academy is centrally located between Potsdamer Platz and Anhalter Bahnhof in the Kreuzberg district. Not far you can find great bars, restaurants, and museums.
Both Communication Design and Game Creation can also be delivered online via HD live-streaming classes.
Vocational courses at htk academy
The htk Academy is a vocational school that offers practical design courses; all students are taught by experts from the creative industry. There are no exams at htk and you will learn through practical projects every semester.
Qualification
At the end of your htk program, you will:
- Gain a German education certificate and your own creative portfolio to show at job interviews.
- Qualify for a Bachelor's Top-up degree in Germany, at one of htk Academy’s academic partners. This additional year of study will be a similar price to the htk annual fee and will also give you access to an amazing 18-month post-study visa.
