Since 1977 Unitec has built a great history, here we tell you how we have progressed over the years:

At the beginning of 1977, a group of professionals led by the founder of the Institution, Dr. Diógenes Parra Walteros, began the task of structuring a feasible project, leading to the opening of an institution that offered innovative academic programs.

Unitec files its study on September 29, 1977 before the Ministry of National Education in the Division of Professional Intermediate Education, supplying all the relevant data and documents for the issuance of the work initiation license, in accordance with article 12 of Decree 2499 1973, current to date.
