The Accounts/Finance Assistant is responsible for assisting the team of accountants with junior accounting duties. These can vary massively depending on the team structure and size of business.

Accounts/Finance Assistant Apprenticeship Level 2

An Assistant Accountant provides support to internal and external customers and will work predominately either as an Assistant Accountant within practice or alternatively within the Finance function of an organization. Part of their role will involve assisting in the day-to-day financial activities such as data entry to month end management accounts and/or year-end financial statements.

Assistant Accountant Apprenticeship Level 3

An Advanced Apprenticeship in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair will develop your employability skills and give you valuable experience of a variety of maintenance and repair activities. You will be working in a workshop environment where your duties could encompass many areas of garage work such as servicing, and the diagnosis and rectification of engine, chassis, electrical and transmission components from light vehicles.

An Apprenticeship in Boat Building will develop your employability skills and give you valuable experience in the Marine industry. You will be working in a workshop environment where your duties could encompass many areas of work such as learning about composites and wood trades, however you will specialise in one of these in your third year Your exact duties will depend upon your employer.

Boat Building Apprenticeship (Composites and Wood Trades)

The Bricklayer Apprenticeship Standard will develop your employability skills and give you valuable experience of a variety of routine bricklaying-related activities. You will attend college one day per week on this course and work for your employer for the remainder of the week.

Bricklayer Apprenticeship Level 2

A Site Carpenter will normally work on a building site, or in domestic and commercial premises, preparing and fixing building components, from the initial erection of a new building, through to the installation of all necessary fixtures and fittings, as well as a range of repair and maintenance activities.

Carpentry and Joinery (Site Carpenter Pathway) Apprenticeship Level 2

An Advanced Site Carpenter will normally work on a building site, or in domestic and commercial premises, preparing and installing complex and often bespoke building components e.g. high quality doors, shaped linings, staircases with turns, complex wall and floor units, erecting bespoke structural carpentry (inclined roofs and joists) and erecting complex roof structures (e.g. inclined roofs with hips, valleys and dormers).
