Postgraduate in Graphic and Structural Design of Packaging
It addresses graphic design andpackagingdesign from its form and communication.Discover the tools, materials and packaging printing and promotion techniques to be able to offer solutions to the consumer.
The structural design of packaging provides the product with a higher level of communication: the shape and materials of a product give it a comprehensive level of communication that is complemented by the graphic design.In thePostgraduate in Graphic and Structural Design of Packagingyou will learn how to take advantage ofpackagingas an opportunity to add meaning and meaning to the product.
In a continuously expanding market,packagingrequires professionals with the ability to communicate, both formally and graphically, the attributes of a product.Designing a container today implies bringing to the market products that seduce by their language of communication and are designed with social awareness and environmental responsibility.

Objectives
- Deepen the discipline ofpackaging, its history and new trends, and learn how society and the consumer influencepackagingsolutions .
- Offer the necessary theoretical/practical instruments to carry out and present apackagingproject : creation ofnaming,letteringand applied typography, art direction and presentation techniques.
- Know the lines that strategists and designers follow to achieve a successful product, acquire a solid theoretical foundation in branding and know how a product is created and developed from a marketing point of view.
- Put into practice the knowledge acquired through the analysis, planning, design and execution ofpackagingprojects .Detect customer needs and create packaging that meets the demands of different sectors.Learn to create more efficient and sustainable packaging that promotes good design and the optimal use of materials.
- Provide the student with specific knowledge of the materials used by thepackagingindustry : packaging creation systems, prepress and printing, quality controls and identify the different types of packaging that exist and their possibilities.
- Know the factors that condition the production and selection of a container for a specific product and the role that the selection of a certain type of container can have in a product.
