Introduction
The Advanced Integrated Technology (AIT) program is a study that employs manufacturing and technology integration principles. These skill-sets include manufacturing principles, robotics, PLC programming, drive configuration and advanced electric motor control, used in modern industry.
The curriculum also addresses the need for critical thinking, communication skills, problem-solving strategies and troubleshooting techniques for the latest generations of high tech equipment in today’s manufacturing environment. Students in this program will have hands-on opportunities to train on pieces of equipment utilized in the Braidy Aluminum Mill.
