Introduction
Within the framework of the Latin American and Caribbean Conference for the Internationalization of Higher Education (LACHEC), INILAT (Latin American Initiative for the Internationalization of Higher Education) was presented, which was recently created is by the networks that currently congregate a large number of higher education institutions from Argentina (FIESA), Brazil (FAUBAI), Colombia (RCI-ASCUN), Chile (LEARN CHILE), Mexico (AMPEI) and Peru (REDI-PERI) that join their voices to share current challenges, but above all to propose proposals that allow internationalization to continue to be present as an articulator of the training processes and that it manages to impact a greater number of people.
Seeking to move from reflection to concrete proposals, each of the member countries of INILAT is in charge of a work project.

Chile: Creation of a regional exchange program in virtual mode.
Peru: Generation of initiatives for the internationalization of research through the approach of researchers from the region.
Argentina: Search for sources of financing and generation of international alliances that strengthen Latin American networks.
Colombia: Construction of a common agenda and meetings for the management, exchange of good practices and positioning of LATAM in the international education sector.
Mexico: Identification of public policies for the internationalization of higher education systems in Latin America.
