- Interface creation with HTML5 and CSS3
- Project collaboration using Github
Learn to create non-relational database-driven applications using Node.js, Express.js and MongoDB. The technologies that companies are demanding currently. Topics include:
- Web applications using the express.js framework
- Non Relational databases (MongoDB) & ORMs
- Deploy your applications following best practices
In this module you will learn how to create your own APIs (Application Programming Interface) to design using microservice architecture. You will also learn how to create applications using Angular2. Topics include:
- API Design with Node.js
- MVVC Application design with Angular2
- Creating Web components
- External APIs with MEAN Stack
Front-End | Weeks 1-3
In the first 3 weeks, you will meet your classmates, educators and the operations team at Ironhack. You will learn how to setup your development environment for in-class learning. This will also be a review week for remote prep content.
Last week of the module is dedicated to your first project as a developer: Coding a game!
MEAN Stack | Weeks 4-6
Weeks 4-6 are a structured dive into full-stack web development using MEAN.js (Mongo Database, Express.js & Node.js). You will learn how to design non relational databases and use them in your web applications.
Microservices | Weeks 7-9
Weeks 7-9 will focus in microservice architectures. You will learn how to connect your web applications to external APIs, how to create your own and how to consume them with Angular JS.
Weeks 8 and 9 will be focused on writting your final bootcamp project. May the force be with you!
Hiring week is the final phase where you’ll be working with our career team to land your dream job. You will have a solid portfolio of projects, Github presence, technical interview experience, a developer-focused resume and an introduction to the companies in our hiring partner network.
