Program Description

If you’ve already completed college- or university-level courses and want to transfer to Colorado State University, our 1-Semester Undergraduate Transfer Program (UTP) is for you. You’ll receive an estimate of transferable credits toward your degree before you start your program.


Degree Program Components

1-Semester:

  • 120-159 credit hours program
  • 8-17 credit hours apply from UTP
  • Credits remaining to a degree depend on transfer credits applied

Course features

  • Transfer of credits from your college or university-level classes to your degree.
  • A customized curriculum of university credit-bearing courses.
  • Guaranteed progression to any undergraduate program upon successful completion of your UTP at George Mason University, Drew University, Colorado State University or Oregon State University.
  • Academic advising throughout the program including progression and student success advisors.
  • Scholarships between $1,000-$15,000 awarded per year to qualified students. Contact your INTO representative for details.

  • Award: This Pathway program leads to a variety of bachelor's degrees at Colorado State University.
  • Course options: 1-Semester Pathway. This International Year One 1-Semester Pathway lasts six months and is designed for students who already have a higher level of English.

Entry requirements

  • Academic requirements: Minimum of 30 college/university credits Minimum college/university GPA of 2.5
  • English language requirements: TOEFL iBT 75-79, IELTS 6.0-6.5, PTEA 50-53, Completion of Academic English Level 3 with a minimum of 80% in all classes, or IELA 176.
  • Age requirements: 16 years and above.
