*Students who have an interest in biomedical engineering, civil engineering, electrical and computer engineering, and mechanical engineering would substitute the 1000-level introductory course of chair-recommended alternative course for those major interests.

What are the progression requirements?

Upon successful completion of the two semester Undergraduate Pathway program and meeting university requirements for undergraduate admission, you may enter your second year of undergraduate study at Saint Louis University. This transition from an INTO program to a university degree program is called progression. You must meet the following Saint Louis University Pathway Progression criteria in order to progress to SLU:

  • Minimum of 2.7 cumulative SLU GPA
  • Grade of B or better in all classes counting toward major
  • No C-/D/F/W/I/P/NP/S/U grades

After successfully completing the Undergraduate Pathway in Engineering, you can progress on to a bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering, civil engineering, computer engineering, electrical engineering, engineering physics, interdisciplinary engineering, mechanical engineering or physics.
