Competing in today’s global market for the travel client requires skilled tourism professionals who understand selling and marketing techniques and are computer savvy. The Travel & Tourism Diploma Program provides students with a solid background in destination choices, motivating factors, travel trends, research tools and computer applications. Theory is
then applied in a practical setting with a three week practicum.
The aim of this program is to provide students with the
skills and knowledge required to succeed in a career
related to Travel and Tourism.
Career paths can be chosen in numerous sectors such as: travel counseling, airline customer service agents, flight attendant, cruise line guest services, tour operator call centre representatives, hotel and car rental employees which can quickly lead to supervisory and management roles.
· Applicants must possess a high school diploma or meet the requirements for mature student status;
· Applicants must successfully pass the Vancouver Career College Admissions Test.
