The course conveys necessary theoretical knowledge in robotics, followed by lab courses where you can apply the gained knowledge in hands-on practical projects. The programme offers an overview of the application of intelligent, robust robots as part of future smart factories. The lecture comprises three segments covering the central topics of communication between heterogeneous systems, adaptive industrial robotics, and autonomous mobile robotics for in-factory logistics. Students will be exposed to topics such as OPC UA, DDS and other communication standards in modern industrial applications, as well as the state of the art in behavior generation both for stationary industrial as well as autonomous mobile groups of robots. This makes it one of the largest and most experienced providers of German as a foreign language. Juniors is the term we use for our youngest students between ages 7 and 13. Teenagers are our students ages 14 and 18. Our schools for juniors and teenagers are located amidst beautiful landscape or in attractive small towns. In Bosnia-Herzegovina, you will travel to Sarajevo, called the “Jerusalem of Europe” because of its once historic mix of Jews, Christians, and Muslims. After Sarajevo, you’ll have a two-day trip to Republika Srpska that includes a visit to the memorial site for victims of Srebrenica, and an overnight stay in Višegrad, immortalized in Ivo Andrié’s Nobel Prize-winning classic Bridge on the Drina. On your second trip you will visit Greece and Cyprus.
