Summer courses have grown in popularity. What was once mainly thought of as a form of catch-up for grade-school children has developed to a form of education for people of all ages. Anyone interested in enhancing their education should consider a summer course in an area that interests them.
You may ask, what is a summer course in fine arts? It is a course designed to give individuals foundational tools and training to excel in various art forms. There are different options that span a variety of specialties, including acting, singing, dance, film and more. Some courses focus on foundational skills in general, while others may focus on different aspects of a particular art form. Upon completion, individuals are prepared to pursue further study and incorporate their education into their current art ventures.
The arts tend to be interdisciplinary, so training in one area can span across others. This makes the training quite versatile and helps those who participate to succeed and excel in many areas of interest.
The cost of attending a summer course in fine arts can vary greatly, depending upon various factors. Some of the main contributors to the cost are the location of the school, any extra expenses incurred, and whether you study in person or online.
This summer course helps to prepare individuals to pursue further study in the arts. Those that go on to complete their programs are able to branch out into various career paths. Some graduates may focus on becoming entertainers. Those with business skills may incorporate the two and pursue avenues such as marketing and advertising. Individuals with a passion for education may explore teaching. With art being applicable in so many industries, the opportunities are virtually endless.
If you have a passion for the arts, a summer course in fine arts is worth exploring. Search for your program below and contact directly the admission office of the school of your choice by filling in the lead form.

Understand what makes for successful Character Animation !
France is today the third largest animation producer in the world and the European leader. French artists and studios create and develop full-length feature films, TV series, commercials, short art-house films, special effects, video games and other emerging forms of audiovisual expression. »EXPRESS YOURSELF! EXPERIMENTAL PAINTING« FIND UNEXPLORED POSSIBILITIES IN FORMS OF CREATIVITY THROUGH EXPERIMENTATION WITH COLOUR AND PAINTING TECHNIQUES. The course mainly focuses on providing knowledge of craft-based artistic work within the studio practice. You learn to use paint (acrylic), brushes and imaginative painting techniques through concentrated, experimental approaches to advance the development of your skills in this area. You experiment with stencils, prints and the various ways of applying brushes. You translate forms (i.e. from nature or the city) and observations in painting and learn new techniques in the treatment of color. You can also create your own paintings and work on your own. The course provides assistance and stimulation in finding compositions and the application of paint. Aside from that, we will observe how the Bauhaus artists painted and created our own paintings and collages in their style. The course offers an overview of Bauhaus painting and art practices and explains their content. Additionally, you are given an overview of the development of painting “after Bauhaus” in America and Europe and learn about contemporary painting practices that revive Bauhaus themes. By emulating a Bauhaus master lesson we better understand Bauhaus ideas. You do painting exercises in color and form and expand your understanding of their relationship. As an outcome of the course you'll have paintings and/or collages to be used as: original artworks, application material for art schools, or new forms within adjacent areas such as design or architecture. We conclude the course with an exhibition of the works...

A HANDS-ON WORKSHOP TO DISCOVER THE POSSIBILITIES OF ARCHITECTURAL SPACE IN ITS MOST FUNDAMENTAL AND ARCHAIC WAY.
In this hands-on course you will investigate and experiment with architectural space in its most archaic form. By weaving shapes, relations, proportions, and light, architecture can elevate new spatial experiences and phenomena, which is the theoretic bedrock this course is built upon. In this context working with physical models has still proved to be one of the most fundamental methods to produce, assess and refine space – especially in our increasingly digitalized world. This course is a testing field for experimenting with space and the methods to evaluate it....

Gathering visions and original ideas around a specific theme, the Biennale of Venice act as a sort of mirror to look at the contemporaneity in a very original way, both for art and for architectural aspects.
“Freespace” is the title chosen by Yvonne Farrell and Shelley McNamara for the 16th International Architecture Exhibition, but it is also a word to describe the “sense of humanity located at the core of architecture, looking at the essential quality of space and at its embodied power and beauty”.
Starting from this statement, the course proposed by IED Venezia explores the relation between space and art, looked from different points of view and prospective, through specific visits and meetings....
