About
In the frame of the Summer Schools organized by the University of Pisa, under the direction of the “Laboratorio di Cultura Digitale” (Laboratory for Digital Culture, see site in Italian), the fourth edition of the Summer School “Digital Tools for Humanists” will be held in Pisa from 8 to 12 June 2020.
The school intends to present some selected tools that can help humanist in their researches and activities, taking advantage of the digital turn and the new technologies. Particular attention is given to useful tools for the treatment of texts.
AIM
The aim is to train professionals able to enhance digital technologies and humanistic skills in the design and development of solutions for businesses, cultural operators and public bodies. In the same time the school wants to promote digital culture in the Humanities and help humanist (young and old) in the transition from traditional world to the present one, looking at the future.
Who can apply
From graduated students up to professionals in the Humanities (PhD students, librarians, teachers, researches, archivists, etc.)
