The Summer course in Drawing Venice: New interpretations of a classic city brings together students of different creative and artistic backgrounds to capture Venice through a classic sketchbook course which connects the past and present examining the architectural, natural and social realities that make up the urban context of one of the most famous city of the world. The classes will combine the historic and contemporary context of the drawing venues with the development of the creative process and refinement of personal technique and style.
To achieve that goal the course will have a duration of 75 hours, shared through work-on site around the city, frontal lesson (in class), and study visit to Museum and to to the main venues of the 2016 Biennal of Architecture.
The attendance is from Monday to Thursday and will follow a specific Calendar scheduling lesson in the morning or in the afternoon section, depending on the specific activities requested. The students will learn and develop basic drawing skills, including composition, form and perspective, with a focus on the creative and artistic conceptualization of their ideas.
