Content of the program

The Python Programming Workshop consists of 5 modules , which total 30 hours of learning in total.

Module 1. Troubleshooting, Programming and Python Basics (6 hours)

Know the basics of programming and sequential programming with Python.

  1. Basic programming concepts, problem solving approach, pseudocode
  2. Introduction to Python
  3. Simple, floating operations, text strings, input / output, mathematical calculations.
  4. Sequential programming

Module 2. Sequential, Conditional and Cyclic Structures (6 hours)

Manipulate conditions and cycles and carry out Software tests in their programs.

  1. Simple conditionals
  2. Nested Conditionals
  3. Cycles
  4. Menu Management
  5. Sequence generation
  6. Ticket Validations

Module 3. Functions, strings and lists (6 hours)

Modulate programs with the use of functions. Take advantage of Python manipulation of strings and lists programming structures.

  1. Function concept 3. List concept
  2. Creation and manipulation of functions
  3. List concept
  4. Strings concept

Module 4. Nested Lists (6 hours)

Design programs with manipulation of nested lists.

  1. List creation and manipulation
  2. Use of functions with lists, step of nested parameters

Module 5. File Management and Use of Libraries (6 hours)

Manipulate data files to obtain simple analysis results with Python.

  1. .Csv file creation
  2. File Operation
  3. File data manipulation through nested lists
