PresentationThe course is designed for anyone who wants to know the analysis and tools that professionals use to invest in financial markets. Additionally, as this is a broad spectrum course, passing the final exam implies obtaining a course certificate valid by the CNMV for those who carry out client advisory tasks according to Technical Guide 4/2017. That said, although valid for advice, it is NOT a specific advice course, it is focused on trading techniques and analysis and complemented by an advisory module.
The specific content of this course makes it especially necessary to develop a very practical methodology based on cases and situations of the real market and with significant support in different computer tools. The first Analysis Module will address the theoretical explanations of the different types of existing analysis. At the same time, practices will be carried out with spreadsheets, as well as with the necessary computer programs and applications, to develop and assimilate the exposed concepts (Infobolsa).
The second Trading Module also has a strong practical component based on the use of simulation and programming platforms for trading systems (Visual Trader and Ibroker). Throughout this module, attendees will perform a real-time simulation where all the knowledge acquired during the course will be put to the test.
In the third Advisory Module , once all the knowledge of analysis, products and markets has been assimilated, collective investment products and insurance, specific regulation and taxation will be explained. This knowledge will perfectly complement the analysis and trading modules and will enable students to develop the financial advisory activity.Students will take evaluative tests after each of the modules.
The final evaluation of the students will be a compendium of the different works and exams carried out throughout the course according to the following percentages:15% Analysis exam mark.
15% Trading exam grade.
15% Advisory exam mark.
15% Practical note of Trading work and Analysis work.
40% Final Exam Note (Obligatory Pass to obtain the title).Students will receive a course evaluation certificate whose average grade will be calculated as described above. Students who do not pass and who meet the minimum attendance of 80% will receive a Certificate of Attendance.
Additionally, students who successfully pass the final course exam will receive the “ Professional Analysis & Trading ” accreditation , endorsed by Instituto Bolsas y Mercados Españoles ( Instituto BME ) and authorized by the CNMV for financial advice.
The exams of the different modules and practices will be prepared and corrected by the Academic Directors and will only count for the final grade of the course evaluation.
The final exam (Professional Analysis & Trading Accreditation) will be prepared entirely by an Examining Committee (a group of professionals who are experts in the field and external to Instituto BME ) will be done in person in Madrid on the Instituto BME exam platform and its correction will be anonymous to examiners.
The final exam will consist of 100 questions with the following weighting:35% Analysis Module.
50% Trading Module.
15% Counseling Module.Addressed toPeople who want to acquire knowledge in financial markets, either professionally or personally, and who want to learn the techniques that market professionals use to manage their assets.
Market professionals who want to have all specific knowledge to be able to advise clients.
It is not necessary for students to have any prior knowledge, bachelor's degree or similar, since everything necessary will be explained during the course.
On the other hand, it would be desirable for students to have a level of English that allows them to read and understand analysis reports in this language as well as an Excel level that allows them to function fluently with the spreadsheets that they use with the teachers in class. .objectiveThe objective of this program is to train professional traders, for which attendees must receive specific and methodical training.
