Civil Engineering is one of the disciplines of professional engineering, dealing with the creation of civilian-used structures from conceptualization through to construction and maintenance. Both publicly-funded governments and private companies are involved in civil engineering.

Ireland is an island to the northwest of continental Europe. It is the third-largest island in Europe and the twentieth-largest island on Earth. To its east is the larger island of Great Britain, from which the Irish Sea separates it.

A preparatory year is designed to get students ready for their first year at a university. This year can consist of taking a number of courses that will prove to be useful once your traditional education begins.  

Part time learning allows one to obtain part-time degrees even if one cannot attend school on a full-time basis. One can learn at his or own pace, gradually accumulating credits which count towards final qualification.
