Postgraduate Diploma in Management – Agribusiness and Plantation Management
This Professional Management Course aims at providing management education to the entrants in the plantation and associated agri-business sector. The program is aimed at combining the grassroots action with global competition and equips the students for managerial positions in Agri-Plantation Business Sector. Course Duration: 24 Months Residential Course: AICTE Approved - Equivalent to MBA
The course is divided into 6 classroom trimesters covering 117 credits including Corporate Training Segment of 12 weeks. It integrates technical, functional, managerial and leadership aspects of management with a fusion of skills, techniques, qualities and values. The course is customized to the requirement of the industry. The customization of various courses is ensured through plantations and agri-business related case studies, field visits including "camping out" for sensitizing the students. Students also have an opportunity of interactions with industry leaders through vision building talks.
Apart from classroom, students utilize their time to library consultations, computer lab work and work on course related assignments, etc. and guidance will also be available to the students for seeking personal consultations with faculty for clarifications on a need basis.
