Program Description

Home to one of the oldest universities in the world, Oxford is a bustling and cosmopolitan city steeped in history and culture. Aside from the beautiful buildings of Oxford University, there are many other sights worth visiting, including the Radcliffe Camera, the Ashmolean Museum and the Bodleian Library. With a broad international mix, students will improve their language skills not only in lessons but by making friends during trips and by living with a host family.

Meals

  • Breakfast and dinner will be with families and a packed lunch will be provided. The first meal will be dinner on arrival and the last meal will be packed lunch on departure.

Academic choice

  • Trinity GESE exam (minimum 7 students across the school required, subject to availability).

Accommodation

Homestay

  • Students will stay with host families selected according to British Council Guidelines.
  • All students will stay in a twin or triple rooms.
  • Families are within a 45-minute journey from the school by public transport.

Local transport

  • Bus: Central bus stop is a 5-minute walk from the school. This serves all homestay areas.
  • Travel Cards: Weekly Oxford City bus pass* is included with unlimited travel on the Oxford City bus network.
