Introduction

The Network and Cloud Administration course begins with the essentials of computer hardware and operating systems foundations. Then it moves onto Microsoft network technology. Students will learn how to install and configure Microsoft servers and networks. Further they will gain in-depth knowledge of cloud-based Microsoft Windows Network Systems and Windows Security. Students will also learn the fundamentals of CISCO switches and routers and Linux Administration. They will then move to Google cloud solution and AWS cloud solution. This will introduce students to the advanced topics of the program. Upon successful completion of this program, students will be awarded a diploma and able to take and pass the related certification exams.

Metro College Of Technology (Canada)

Metro College is a registered PCC under the Private Career Colleges Act by the Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills Development (MAESD). As such, MAESD requires certain student outcomes to be reported as Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). The three KPIs being reported are Graduation Rate; Employment Rate; and Student Loan Default Rate. For the Graduate Employment rate, graduates are contacted six (6) months after student graduation through telephone surveys conducted by Forum Research. Below are the most recent KPIs. This represents data from 2013. As posted by the MAESD, “These reports are a summary of results from the ministry’s pilot year for calculating and publishing PCC KPIs. The ministry is using lessons learned from this first KPI collection cycle to strengthen the KPI reporting methodology.
